Education
Pickaway County is home to four outstanding school districts, Circleville, Logan Elm, Teays Valley and Westfall. Ohio Christian University, a private, 501c3 not-for-profit, accredited four-year liberal arts institution is located just west of Circleville. In an effort to bring additional post-secondary options to the businesses and citizens of Pickaway County, Ohio University and Columbus State Community College have begun offering classes at Teays Valley High School. Employers in Pickaway County are served by three excellent workforce development partners, Pickaway JOBS-One-Stop, Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center, and Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools. Local Tax Incentives
Pickaway County has several enterprise zones (EZ) and a community reinvestment area (CRA) offering abatement of real property taxes to qualified businesses that are looking to create and/or retain jobs and make a capital investment. Abatement ranges from 50% for 5-years, up to 100% for 15-years based on number of jobs and amount of capital investment. Please click on the links below to view maps of the EZs and CRA:
